Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born in a family of collective-farmers. I was 1, when WW II started so my childhood was hard and with no joy. My father was in the army from the f=very first day of the war till the last one. While he was gone, I lived with my sister and my mother – it was hard. I finished school in 1957.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After finishing school I went to Donbass to work at construction spot. A year later I came back to the village and then decided to go to Kyiv. I lived at a dormitory and worked at a bread-baking factory. It was hard work but I was raised in the village so it was ok for me. Then for 45 years I worked at the car garage of the Cabinet of Ministers. I was rewarded for my work. In 2011 I retired.
Tell about your present life.
In 2012 my husband died. Now I live with my daughter. Her husband died in 2011. We live with her daughter and son. My grandson is married and has two boys so I have grandchildren. Now in time of war all people suffer but especially people of elderly age like me – I can hardly walk. It is good that my family is there for me and I feel great support by the church.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
Surely, I do believe. My parents were believers and I try to share the Word of God with my family.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I think the most important thing is my faith in the Lord. My life would have been so different without Him. My faith keeps me encourages and helps to move on. The Lord helps me in everything – praise be to Him.
