Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

My family was made of 7 people: parents, grandmother, two sisters, brother and I. My father was in military, my mother and older sister were teachers. My younger siter and brother died. I did gymnastic and succeeded well in this area. I also loved dancing and singing, literature, embroidery, cooking.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I have got two degrees – engineering and economics. First I worked at the factory where manufacture was very harmful. Then I became an economist at the travel agency. Later I took various positions in leadership in state organizations. My husband died when our daughter turned 11 months. It was hard time after collapse of the Soviet Union. I lost my job and had to start selling things in the market to provide for my daughter and myself. I worked hard, studied and did my best to give good education to my daughter.

Tell about your present life.

I have disability status after having had 6 surgeries. I have to be on medicines which is very costly and my pension is low. I love life and do not get discouraged so I overcome all my hardships with the Lord. My dream is to get a smart phone not to be isolated from life. I am an elderly person and all I can do to help my country during the war is to pray.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ. In my childhood my grandmother used to read me passages from the Bible. 20 years ago I came to the church. I love it here. God is my spiritual father. Before I do anything I ask myself a question, “What would Jesus do?” Every morning and night I read the Bible and pray. I know that God hears me and He supports me.
