Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a family of collective-farmers. It did not work for me to live with them so I was raised by a woman who committed her life to me. I went to a village school. My childhood was not easy – I had to help around the house and work in the field.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

In 1966 I came to Kyiv to look for a job. I worked at the factory with machines – it was very hard I had to work in three shifts. But I was young and it was ok. I played volley-ball and was fond of singing.

Tell about your present life.

What kind of life can be during the war – sometimes three air-raids a day, some last for 4 hours. One cannot know what is coming the next second. I do not want to complain but it is just coming out. For example, we are to go to a Bible lesson tomorrow and bombing is being expected. Day and night we pray for our kids and grandkids and for our bleeding Ukraine. We believe in our victory and are very thankful to you for your help.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ. I cannot imagine my life without God. My parents were Christians so I grew up knowing God and many prayers. When I joined our church in 2016, I deepened my knowledge of the Bible and my faith was strengthened.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I am trust-worthy. Sponsor needs to know about my faith. In this time it is not possible to live without faith in God. Amen.
