Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I went to school at the age of 7 and then a year later WW II started. My father took part in the war. So I had to work hard to help my mother in the collective- farm.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

After the war young people could easily find job in Donetsk region in restoring its industry. So I studied for 6 months in the coal-mine school and became a brick layer. I worked at construction.

Tell about your present life.

I have disability status of the 3rd degree. I suffer of sugar diabetes. In 2014 when the war started my brother and son died and later my grandson was killed. It is very hard to live with such losses.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ. My grandmother taught me to believe and to pray. I pray in the morning and in the evening just like I did in childhood. I remember my grandmother taking me to the Orthodox church where the priest would sing – I really liked it.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

When I moved to Kyiv my friends welcomed me and Katerina and Alina brought me to St. Paul Church. I remember Roger and Diane. I used to be in the church choir. I am thankful for the help I receive from the church.
