In 1932 my both parents were sent to Siberia as political criminals. In 1949 my mother died. In 1950 my father and I came to Ukraine and I started school the same year. In 1965 my father died.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at construction companies as a secretary, engineer, senior engineer, head of safety department. I was also active in social work of the plant. In 1997 I retired. In 2008 I came to St. Paul Church and soon became a Stephen minister.

Tell about your present life.

Since my family suffered of political repressions I chose to help people who suffered of various crimes.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I accepted Christ in 2008 when I came to church. My life changed. I am very thankful to the Lord. I am also thankful to my sponsor for such long Christian friendship. I am very thankful for such ongoing support by you, especially now in time of war.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I am a bit concerned because I have no one to help me. My dear sponsor, I love you. I have had 3 strokes. Injuries of legs and arms, my head. It is hard to cure a disease. I believe that my Lord Jesus Christ will deliver me from this terrible pain. I enjoy music a lot – Christian, classic, folk. I used to be a part of our church choir. Sincerely, Ludmila.
