Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

We had four children in our family. Three boys and one girl. When I was 9 years old, our mother died and we were all sent to an orphanage. After the eighth grade, I was transferred to a vocational school. There I received a qualification as a reinforcing concrete worker. I worked in this specialty until I joined the army.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

For the last 20 years, I have been working at the Bakhmut district heating company. In total, I worked as a welder for 50 years until I turned 70. The working conditions were unhealthy and physically demanding. But still, I was satisfied with everything.

Tell about your present life.

Now I live in Kyiv. I am satisfied with my living conditions. But I am still waiting for the war to end and I want to live in a peaceful country.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I started thinking about faith in Christ when I was an adult. My relatives told me about God, and later I began to realize everything on my own. One day I asked the Lord for something and got what I prayed for. It gave me confidence and strengthened my faith in Him.

I am ready to go on with my life with honor and dignity. To know and serve God.
