Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I studied in the specialized boarding school since the 2nd grade. My mother had three kids. Our father did not live with us, therefore I was to be in the boarding school: I was there from Monday till Friday and went home for a weekend.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After I finished school I studied to be a seamstress. I was pleased with my job. Then I went to work at the factory and finally I worked as a seamstress at the automobile factory. It was quite a new position at the factory, so I also had to be a designer there. I was very pleased with my work.
Tell about your present life.
Now I live alone. Both my husband and my son died. I have a sister and a cousin. I spend my time knitting socks and hats for orphans in Donbas, but now the kids have been moved out from Druzhkivka because of the war. When everything gets back to order we will be helping the kids again.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I accepted Christ 20 years ago. I really feel His help in my life. I am very thankful to the Lord for finding me, for keeping my hand in His through life, for teaching, guiding and protecting me. Praise be to Him for hearing my prayers and answering those.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I would like my sponsor Nancy Mc Neal know that I am so thankful for having her in my life. Every day I pray for her asking God to bless her with well-being. Let God bless her for her good heart. Let God bless America for their good hearts, for helping Ukraine at such hard time. We have a telephone prayer group: every night over the phone we pray for the victory, for our sponsors and for America and for all the countries that are helping us now. Sincere respect and thanks, Valentina
