I finished secondary school and entered agricultural college. I majored in accounting. My father worked as a driver. My mother was a bookkeeper. My parents as well as my two brothers have already passed away. I had a son, a university graduate. He died in a car accident. My daughter has a higher education. We do not live together.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I started my career in 1976. I worked for a medical facility as a bookkeeper.
Tell about your present life.
I live in Kyiv as an internally displaced person. It is difficult to be alone in a new place. I have nothing, which is understandable and familiar to me, nothing but my pain and illnesses.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I try to understand a very deep meaning of God’s Word.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
Prior to the war, I lived in Kramatorsk. As I said, I worked for a medical facility. When the war started, I retired. Shortly before the war started, my brother died, and then my son (who was only 37) died in a car accident. I thought my heart would not cope with such an overwhelming pain.
The war brought frequent shelling and destruction to our city. All the residents were really frightened. They began to flee to safer places.
At present, I live in Kyiv as an IDP. I am surrounded by kind, well-meaning people. Their lifestyle hasn’t changed much, while our lives, the lives of IDPs, would never be the same again.
