Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born shortly before WWII started. My father went to the front. And my mother and grandmother stayed with me. There was a great problem with baby food them, they said. I went to school at the age of 7. Though I am 82 now, I cherish wonderful memories of my school-life. I still stay in touch with some of my class-mates, many of them have died.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After finishing school I spent three years working at the cloth-manufacturing plant. Then I entered a technical college. I worked as a book-keeper for 50 years. I enjoyed my job. Sometimes at the end of each month I had to stay longer at work, but since I was young then, it was ok.
Tell about your present life.
I married a good man – he worked hard and never was abusive. Then our daughter was born who is now a pensioner. Now I live alone. In 2012 my husband died of a long-going chronic disease. In 2015 my mother died. My daughter and her son are my only family. They live together. My grandson became disable after a head surgery – he developed mobility problems. Though my pension is very small, I do my best to help them. I have had two surgeries and it is getting more and more difficult for me to move around. My apartment is on the 5th floor in the house with no elevator.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in Christ as my Lord and Savior and is committed to worship and serve Him faithfully. My mother taught me the basics of faith. I came to St. Paul Church in 2015 and became its member in 2018. Pastor Roger McMurrin and his wife accepted me into our church.
