Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

Before WW II my father worked as an engineer at a metallurgical plant. My mother was studying at the theater college. When the war started my mother and I moved to Odessa where I was studying in school, doing sports and taking part in school social activities. After finishing school I entered the College of Transport. In 1959 I was called to serve in the army where I was a commander assistant and was in charge for technical safety.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic University and later worked in three different institutes: Cancer Institute, Microbiology Institute, Cybernetics Institute. I was taking various positions: senior engineer, department head, science worker. I have a couple of patents for my scientific inventions. I made a report at the International Biophysics Congress in Riga (Latvia).

Tell about your present life.

I had lived in Odessa for a couple of years (note: Ellan used to be a member of our Program before he moved to Odessa). There because of criminals I lost my apartment and had to go back to Kyiv where I rent a place from my friend.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

In 2005 I first heard about Christ in MMK and since that time have been following Him. I am very thankful to people who tell about Christ and the Word of God.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

Now hardships came into my life. But praise God, I am not alone: friends are helping me in my need. I am thankful to MMK that accepted me back and as usual supports me both spiritually and materially. I feel that I am not alone. There are people who take care of me and teach the Word of God. I learn wisdom and my heart is changing. I learn that God is an almighty and loving Savior, thus he enables me to forgive others and overcome hardships. I am very thankful to MMK. Let God bless greatly who take care of those in need.
