Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was the eldest in a family of 3 kids. Our parents were teachers. My childhood was hard. I graduated from the university and had worked for 47 year. Now I am alone and has a disable son.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked as an engineer at a natural resources company. The company went through all the stages of its development – it was a very interesting and responsible job. I enjoyed my job.

Tell about your present life.

I divorced my husband. Then my daughter died. I was retired and had no way to make some extra money. Now the war is going on. I find the ways to help our Army and people who were to leave their home because of the war. All my free time is filled with tears and fear. Recently the shelling hit the area close to the place where my daughter was buried – a huge hole was left in that place. Praise God and thanks to your Mission, now three times a week we can seek Christ (or He is seeking us).

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

Now I live by my faith in Christ. When I was 1 I was secretly baptized because my father was a Communist. Then through my whole life experience – betrayal by my husband, death of my daughter, disability of my son – I keep on crying to God, “GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?”

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I am an ordinary Ukrainian woman. I could have been a grandmother, but there are no grandkids, unfortunately. I am ashamed to complain, for I used to be very self-sufficient. Thank you so much for your support. For Christmas we were able to buy some cheese and fish. I am very thankful for church services and Bible studies. I am thankful to Greg for his prayer for peace in Ukraine, for love and support – I pray for the leader of our Mission so let the Lord bless him filly and renew his health.
