Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

Ludmila: post-war childhood was very hard. Our mother was sick. Our father died We had to survive. Later I graduated from the College of Trade. Vitaly: shortage of food. I lived with my mother since father was killed in the war. After middle school I entered Sailsmans’ College.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

Ludmila: I worked at different trade organizations. Work condition were good – I was happy with my job. Vitaly: I took leading positions in the field of Dnipro river transportation – I was happy with my job.

Tell about your present life.

Ludmila: now my husband and I are happy with our life. We live on our pension. It is not high – but it is enough. We are very thankful for material help from our dear sponsors. Vitaly: my family is made of two – my wife and I. My wife is also a member of St. Paul Church. We are retired. We are thankful to St. Paul Church for continuous material help, especially at recent time.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

Ludmila: I believe in my God and trust everything in His hands – therefore my life is good. If God is for me, who can be against me? My God helps me with everything. Vitaly: before I joined St. Paul Church I did not communicate with God a lot. The founder of our church Roger McMurrin did a lot to bring me to faith: his classes were always interesting. I have been following the Lord for 15 years now.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

Ludmila: my God is in me and with me and I always receive necessary help from people in the right time. I have just buried my sons – they were killed in the war. We pray for victory which we will receive, because we believe in it. Vitaly: my sponsor needs to know that my whole life is about God. Though I do not know my sponsor personally but I know I have one, for I feel his help.
